This book made me laugh, shake my head, and cringe in turns. It was very different from the genres I usually read/listen to. If you don't go into it expecting a romantic HEA, it is very entertaining. It also makes you think about where evil actually comes from, another being or from the human heart. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed the story. My first Wolford . I will try others.
I was only so-so on this book, and there were many editing errors, but I liked it okay. The plot is what sold me, because it was unique. I felt like with some tight editing this could be an awesome book.
This was the most disappionting book I think I've had the misfortune to read. Poor plot, so many grammatical and spelling errors I crindged each time I crossed one. (And they were numerous!) Granted, I'll be the first to admit I have my faults in my reviews, both grammatical and spelling, but I swear any 3rd grader could have written this book with less errors.
The sexual aspect of the story could be confined to about 15 of the 81 pages - another dissapointment. The rest was useless filler that wasted this readers' time.
Overall, I would not recommend this book to anyone expecting a steamy, hot and sexy read. But if you want a good snooze, by all means, buy it.
It's been some time since I'd had the chance to read something from Perie Wolford. I love his sci-fi books and of course, who can not read his Sam Dorsey books. One of those books I remember quite vividly is Encounter. It was a suspense-filled story that gave me a glimpse of just how crazy this author could be when it comes to titillating the imagination.
Crazy In Love, well, it's about a demon and let me tell you, this is a first for me coming from this author. I've given this a 4.5 because of the plot. It's written at an exhilarating speed and even if it's over twenty thousand words, it became a quick little read that left me a bit surprised I'd done with it in such a short amount of time.
Oh, I cannot avoid saying, this was a really sexy read. Erotic, fun, and as some readers have already noted, quite different in that it's a bit violent than what we normally see from this author. What made me drop it a half point is the editing. Minor errors are there, I have to be honest, but I tend to skip over those issues, and always have so it didn't detract from the read.
I can't wait for Perie's next work to come out. Question is, when?
Recommended for those who like quick, violent, erotic, sexy reads with an unusual plot.
It wasn't what I expected or the type of book I would ever want to read. I really didn't like it but I can't say it was a bad story. It was actually a good story if you are into a twisted "not really a" romance novel... Also there were so many spelling and grammatical errors, which usually doesn't bother me. There were just to many to overlook.
Despite so many reviews mentioning how terribly written this book is, I was intrigued by all the "but it has a great story" comments. It really isn't that great of a story. The premise, the style, the grammar, and the editing (or lack thereof) are all of the quality of an essay written by a 15 year old boy making an effort to be "edgy".
tl;dr - this is beyond terrible and not even worth the 99 cents
Interesting story that definitely went in a way I wasn't expecting. Dale spends the summer with his aunt and meets, Chris, in the woods,leading him to act out in ways that are truly deplorable. However, it's a shocking, and fascinating story that's significantly unique. )
